Iraq receives official invitation from NAM to attend its Summit in Iran

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Iraq received an official invitation from the Non-Aligned Movement to attend its Summit that will be held in Iran on next August, 2012.

The Vice-President, Khudair al-Khuzayi, received the invitation addressed to the President, Jalal Talabani, while meeting the envoy of the Iranian President, Iranian Minister of Interior, Mohamed Mustafa Najar, on Tuesday.

A statement by Khuzayi’s office cited “Khuzayi described the Summit as a good chance for the Arab and the Islamic countries to discuss the critical issues in the region.”

“Najar expressed Iran’s adherence to develop bilateral relations between the two countries,” the statement concluded.
