Urgent – Diyala PC member passes away

Diyala (IraqiNews.com) The member of Diyala Provincial Council, Shaima Abdul Qader al-Qaisi, has passed away due to a heart attack at her residence in Muqdadiya district (35 km) to the west of Baquba, center of Diyala province.

A statement by the Council cited “The member of Diyala PC of the Iraqi Islamic Party died due to sudden heart attack led to her death at once.”

“Qaisi has won membership of Diyala PC as a candidate of the IIP for two successive rounds,” the statement added.
