Abtan shows reasons of not voting on supplementary budget law draft

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Abdul Hussein Abtan, of the Citizen bloc stated that the supplementary budget law draft was not voted upon due to not having any projects that serve the citizens.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he stated “The rejection of the supplementary law draft was due to the lack of the projects that serve the citizens.”

“Most of the MPs decided to deal strictly with this issue and provide the projects that could serve the citizens,” he added.

Regarding the law draft of granting grants to the students, he said “the voting on such law draft is important because it serves the students and the poor level of society.’
