Iraqi stabbed to death in Syria

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi authorities in Nineveh province received from the Syrian authorities a dead body which belongs to an Iraqi civilian.”

Security source mentioned to IraqiNews.com on Saturday that ”The forensic medical directorate in Mosul city received the dead body of the Iraqi civilian on a late hour of Friday night,” noting that “The Iraqi civilian was stabbed to death inside his apartment in Qamishly district in Syria.”

The source added “The victim was from Mosul city and he had an office of currency exchange in Syria,” stressing that ”The Syrian authorities handed the corpse for the Iraqi sides.”

Since a year ago, violent activities took place in the Syrian cities between the Syrian army and gunmen as well as demonstrations and popular protest demanding to topple the current Syrian regime.
