Araji, Khuzai discuss political crisis in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of al-Ahrar bloc, Baha al-Araji, discussed with the Vise-President and the Secretary General of al-Dawa party, Khudhir al-Khuzai, the political crisis and the means of settling it in addition to the Syrian crisis and its affect to Iraq.

A statement by al-Ahrar bloc received by IraqiNews.com on Friday cited “A delegation of al-Ahrar bloc, comprising Baha al-Araji, Jaafar al-Mosawi, Jawad al-Shihili, Abdul Satar al-Bayati and Amira al-Absali where they met Khuzai and some of the members of the political office of al-Dawa party.”

“The two sides discussed the means of conslodating the constituents of the Iraqi National Alliance in order to provide the best services to the Iraqi people,” the statement added.

“The two sides discussed the Syrian situation and its affect on Iraq,” the statement pointed out, noting that “The disputes between the Central Government and Kurdistan Region and the necessity of settling these disputes in order to sustain stability and safety.”

The statement quoted Araji, as saying “A proposal is being prepared to make the reforms within the INA to make it a foundation that serve the Iraqi people.”
