Kurdish MP: Iraqi foreign policy to be affected by internal disputes

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Ruz Mahdi, the member of the Parliamentary Committee for the Foreign Affairs stated that the foreign policy of Iraq started to be affected by the internal disputes.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The foreign policy of any country reflects its internal policy and if there was cooperation in the internal policy, it will positively affect the foreign policy.”

“There is a real crisis in all the aspects of the political crisis where some of them are very dangerous,” he added, noting that “There are indicators for the sectarian conflict from outside of Iraq that would affect the internal situation in Iraq.”

Earlier, the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, while holding a meeting with the Committee of the Foreign Affairs, he stressed the necessity of involving all the ministries in the Iraqi foreign policy and unifying the foreign statement in order to avoid any defects in this field.
