Urgent – Car bomb explodes near mosque in Mosul

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) A car bomb exploded near Muwafaqiya mosque and Husseiniya in eastern Mosul.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com that ”The car bomb, which was driven by suicide bomber exploded near Muwafaqiya mosque and Husseiniya,” noting that “The explosion resulted in killing and wounding many citizens.”

The source added “The suicide bomber detonated his car bomb targeting the people who get out of the mosque after conducting the Friday prayer.”

The source did not mention any further details.
