Iraqi researcher wins international prize about Hydrogen Fuel from India

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Researcher Duraid Fat’hi Makki, from the College of Engineering at Babel University got the first rank in the World Scientific Conference held in India for his research on hydrogen fuel.

A statement by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research quoted Makki as saying “The study got the first rank in the Annual Scientific Conference in India among the [1200] scientific studies prepared by 400 universities within the Indian official universities organization dedicated to researchers.”

“The research includes the use of alternative energy fuel for operating of diesel engines in order to reduce pollutants and emissions,” he stressed.

He explained, “The research aims to find alternatives to diesel, which is used in diesel engines, one of the most important engines adopted in the public transport sector and agriculture in the world despite the fact that this type of fuel is one of the major sources of pollution emitted from combustion.” / End/
