Hakim visits religious authorities in Najaf province

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) The Head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, visited Najaf province on last Sunday.

A statement by the SIIC received by IraqiNews.com cited “Hakim met the religious authorities Mohamed Isihaq al-Fayadh and Basheer al-Najafi in addition to Sayed Mohamed Bahr al-Uloum,” noting that “He discussed the latest political updates with them.”

“Hakim also the ceremonial gathering of Ramadan in the province,” the statement added.

“The citizens expressed their gratitude for Hakim’s visit and his participation in their gatherings,” the statement concluded.
