Kurdish MP: Salih’s visit to Baghdad, normal

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Khalid Shwani, described the visit of the former Prime Minister, of Kurdistan Region and the Secretary General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Barham Salih to Baghdad as “Normal”.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Monday, he said “Salih’s visit is normal and it is to meet the heads of the political blocs and the other political sides.”

“Salih always travels to Baghdad and this visit is to discuss the political crisis and the Iraqi situation in order to find unified visions over the crisis,” he added.

“Salih has visited Baghdad as being the Secretary General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan where his visit is to hold some necessary meetings,” he concluded.
