Othman: Salih’s visit to Baghdad not to settle crisis between Kurdistan Region, central government

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mahmoud Othman, of the Kurdistani Alliance denied that the visit of the Deputy Secretary General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan Barham Salih, to Baghdad will settle the pending issues between Kurdistan Region and the Federal Government.

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Salih’s visit to Baghdad and his meeting with the key officials and the leaders of the political blocs, does not have any initiative to settle the crisis between Kurdistan Region and the Federal Government, but it is a formal visit to discuss any issue.”

“The political blocs talk about the dialogues and the reforms more than the investigation process or the withdrawing of the confidence where we hope that dialogues to settle the current crisis,” he concluded.
