Abtan: Citizen bloc calls increase salaries of retired persons in 2013 budget

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Abdul Hussein Abtan, of the Citizen bloc stated that the bloc called the government to include the increasing of the salaries of the retired persons within 2013 budget in addition to increasing the prices of the agricultural products.

“The bloc called to adjust the law draft of the retirement to make the minimum retirement salary to be 80 % in addition to provide the health insurance for the retired persons,” he added.

The Citizen bloc called to increase the salaries of the retired person in 50% by providing these salaries from the increased oil prices.

“The bloc called to increase the agricultural products to support the agricultural sector,” he assured.

“The parliament decided to increase the prices of the agricultural products in 2012 budget, but the government refused that due to the lack of the appropriations,” he concluded.
