Mahaweel District blames Babel governorate for delay of projects

Babel, Hilla (IraqiNews.com) The Head of the Reconstruction Committee within the Municipal Council of Mahaweel district, Riad Ibraheem, blamed Babel Government for delay in accomplishing projects in Mahaweel district since 2006.

The Head of the Reconstruction Committee stated to IraqiNews.com that ”There are many delayed projects in the district like the potable water project of Mahaweel district,” noting that “The company which implements the project exceeded the scheduled time limit a year ago while the district suffers of lack of the potable water.”

He added that ”The Governorate and other concerned departments are responsible for the delay in implementing the projects and they should punish the companies which implement these projects.” \
