Million pilgrims head to Najaf on Eid al-Fitr

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) The Secretariat General of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali in Najaf province assured that the number of the pilgrims who visited the province on Eid al-Fitr reached up to million visitors.

The Director of the Media Department within the Holy Shine’s administration stated to IraqiNews.com “The number of the visitors who headed to the holy shrine of Imam Ali in Najaf during the Eid al-Fitr occasion reached more than a million.”

The Muslims are used to visit the holy shrines in the Eids and religious ceremonies as these places are considered the most important tourist areas in Iraq.
