Urgent – MP survives assassination attempt in Kut

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The independent MP, Kadhim al-Sayadi, survived an assassination attempt in Kut city the central of waist province.

Sayadi mentioned in press statement received by IraqiNews.com agency ”A sniper opened fire targeting Sayadi vehicle within hin motorcade, while the MP was passing on a street Kut city, from unknown place and the vehicle flipped over as a result of the attack.”

He added that ”The MP was at another vehicle of the motorcade ,” noting that “The attack did not resulted any human casualties.”
