Zamili, Sadr city bombing results in killing 2

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Hazem al-Zamili, of Ahrar Bloc the member of Security and Defense Parliamentary Committee announced that “The human casualties of Sadr blast reached two deaths and several injuries.”

Zamili stated reported in statement to IraqiNews.com received by IraqiNews.com that ”The casualties of the explosion which took place in Sadr city reached two deaths and several inuries,” pointing that ”The media outlets exaggerated thier reports concerning the victims.”

The Official Spokesperson of Baghdad Operations Command, Deah al-Wakel, stated that ”The death toll of the explosion, which took place in Sadr city targeting the people who were performing the Prayer of Friday, resulted in killing two persons and injuring others who were transported to the nearby hospitals for treatment.”

Earlier, Two explosions took place in Sadr city, the first explosion targeted the people who are performing the prayer of Friday, and the second explosion took place near the office of Martyr Mohamed Sadiq al-Sadr of eastern Baghdad.
