Maliki to head Iraqi delegation to participate in summit of non-alliance countries
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, will head the Iraqi delegation to participate in the summit of the Non-Aligned Countries that will be held in Iran on the end of August, 2012.
The Iranian Mehr News Agency stated “The President, Jalal Talabani, was supposed to participate in the summit, but his healthy condition does not allow him to participate. So, Maliki will visit Iran to represent Iraq in the summit.”
“The Iraqi Foreign Minister, Hoshyar Zibari, will accompany Maliki to Iran,” the agency added.
It is worth mentioning that the Summit of the Non-Aligned Countries will be held in Iraq on the 26th to the 31st of August in Iran.
