Nineveh Governor establish Cooperative Office for Energy, Services

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) Governor of Nineveh province, Athil al-Nijaifi, announced “Establishing a Cooperative Office for Energy and services in the province to deal with the energy affairs.”

Nijaifi said “The establishment of the Office aims to activate the planning and the services follow-up.” noting that “Earlier the Services were linked to the Deputy Governor for the Construction and Services, but I noticed that the load in the work exhausts the majority of the Cooperative efforts.”

“We are working for integrating many projects to facilitate their implementation,” he added.

“The energy is the most outstanding problem in Iraq where the electricity energy and oil sector whether in the investment or in the distribution of the oil products, represent great challenge that the Ministries of Electricity and Oil are disable to provide, therefore, we need to intensify attempts for adoption of new methods in coping with these two problems,” Nineveh Governor concluded.
