Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Iqbal al-Ghurabi, of al-Ahrar bloc within the Sadr Trend, held the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, the responsibility of the bombings that targeted the prayers of Friday in Sadr city.

She stated in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com on Saturday “Al-Ahrar bloc holds Maliki the responsibility of the latest bombings of Sadr city because he is the General Commander of the Armed Forces in Iraq in addition to allow Ba’ath members and the formers officers to resume their posts in the security system.”

“The security breaches are increasing daily due to Maliki’s instances to run the security ministries and his decision to return the Ba’ath officers to the Iraqi army,” she added.

“What happened in Sadr city on Friday does not suit with the Maliki’s call for reforms,” she pointed out, noting that “the reforms are not real and they are for the electoral and political purposes only.”
