MoT re-opens Fayha floating bridge

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Ministry of Transportation announced the inauguration of Fayha floating bridge (the coming side) after rehabilitating and reconstructing it by the personnel of the General Company of the Iraqi Ports.

A statement by the Ministry cited “Fayha floating bridge (the coming side) has been inaugurated with attendance of Basra Provincial Council’s Chairman, Sabah al-Bazouni, after being rehabilitated by the staff of the Iraqi Ports.”

“The staff also reconstructed the Tanuma old bridge under request of Basra Governor, Khalaf Abdul Samad,” the statement added.

Fayha Bridge is located on Shatt al-Arab River where it links the two riverbanks at Tanuma district.
