Iraqiyun bloc denies intention to form alliance with SLC

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Head of the Parliamentary Iraqiyun bloc, Hassan al-Jubouri, denied launching discussions between his bloc with the State of Law Coalition and the National Dialogue Front to form a new alliance to participate in the next local elections.

Jubouri confirmed in a statement to IraqiNews.com “The topic of joining the Iraqiyun bloc led by the Speaker Osama al-Nijaifi to the SLC led by the Premier Nouri al-Maliki has not been settled yet,” he added “I rule out this issue since the bloc is still committed to the Iraqiya Slate.”

“Iraqiyun bloc will enter the local elections within the IS and the IS will remain coherent,”

Jubouri acknowledged “Conducting talks by some sides within the IS with other blocs but any of these sides did not announce secession from IS as It is difficult to dismantle the IS.”

Earlier, some sources have reported the proximity of forming new alliance between the SLC with Iraqiyun bloc headed by Nijaifi and the National Dialogue Front led by Saleh al-Mutleg to launch the next local elections.
