2 persons killed, injured central Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) Two persons were killed and injured due to a bomb explosion that targeted a police patrol in central Mosul.

“A bomb emplaced near a police patrol positioned at the Old Prison area of central Mosul exploded, killing a civilian and injuring another,” security source reported to IraqiNews.com on Monday.

“Police patrols transported the dead body to the morgue and the injured person was transferred to the hospital for treatment,” the source added, stressing that “the explosion did not cause casualties among the elements of the Police patrol.”
