Official holds MoO responsible for faltering investing Najma, Qayara oil fields

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) Member of the Provincial Council of Nineveh province, Mohamed Abdullah al-Jubouri, held the Ministry of Oil responsible for “The foot-dragging in the investment of Najma and Qayara oil fields in the province.”

Jubouri told IraqiNews.com “The work is going very slowly in Qayara and Najma oil fields.”

He added “There is a clear falter in investing these two fields.”

“The reason behind this problem is relateed to the failure of Nineveh Oil Department in running and investing these fields in addition to lack of seriousness by the MoO in supervising the performance of the implementing companies,” he concluded.
