Cooperation agreement over Transportation concluded with Afghanistan

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Transports signed an agreement with the Afghan Ministry of Transports.

The MoT reported in statement that ”The Transports Minister Hadi al-Amiri hosted the Afghan Minister of Transports Dawod Ali Najafi and his accompanying delegation and they concluded an agreement of joint cooperation to promote the mutual cooperation between the two countries.”

Amiri mentioned in a joint press conference with the Afghan Minister, after concluding the agreement, that ”Iraq is witnessing a revolution of development, so we are keen to establish relations with other countries especially the Islamic countries.”

The Afghan Minister of Transports confirmed his country’s desire to change the Iraqi Visa from visit purpose to business Visa to allow the Afghan merchants to visit Iraq ,stressing that ”Afghanistan is ready to inaugurate Afghan consulate in Karbala.” \
