Karbala PC accuses mafias of controling real estates market

Karbala (IraqiNews.com) Karbala Provincial Council accused, what it called (Mafias of real estates) of obstructing obtaining approvals to distribute the lands on citizens.

The Deputy Chairman of Karbala Provincial Council, Nusayif Jasim al-Khatabi, stated to IraqiNews.com that ”There are gangs in the province manipulating land prices by buying and selling the agricultural lands to control the market of real estates.”

He added that ”Building houses on agricultural lands created many random neighborhoods which will add burdens on the already exhausted budget through allocating further funds on carrying out many projects of electricity and road paving as well as water and other services projects.” \
