Education Parliamentary Committee cancels employments of MoE

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Parliamentary Education Committee canceled “The employments approved earlier for the current year which were launched via the electronic website of the Ministry due to the administrative and financial corruption.”

The member within the Committee, Riad Ghali al-Saedi, announced in a press conference held in the Parliament headquarter, on Sunday, attended by IraqiNews.com correspondent “During the meeting of the Committee with the Undersecretary Minister of Education, Ali al-Ibrahimi, the Committee issued a resolution to cancel the appointments of the Education Ministry for the school year 2012/2013.”

Saedi attributed “This decision to confirmed and obvious administrative corruption involved in the process of approving these appointments.”

“The Committee submitted the resolution to the MoE to re-apply those appointments through the Directorate of the Ministry across the country,” Saedi added.

It is worth to mention that the MoE has announced, on last August, the approved appointments of those applied as teachers on its staff via the website of the Ministry.
