Iraq participates in preparatory meeting of CASP in Bahrain

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Transportation participated in the preparatory meeting of the “Regulatory Committee for the Cooperative Aviation Security Programme that was held in Bahrain.”

A statement by MoT cited “The Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority, Naser Hussein Bandar, participated in the preparatory meeting of the Regularity Committee of the (Cooperative Aviation Security Programme CASP in the Middle East), which was held in Bahrain for the period of 29-30 on last August.”

“The Arab countries participating in the meeting agreed to invite an expert from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) for purpose of training the employees of the civil aviation security sector in return of sums of money afford by those countries,”the statement added.

“The training will start after six months from now,” the statement concluded.
