Parliament: New salaries scale ready for endorsement

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Mmber of the Parliamentary Financial Committee, Najiba Najib, announced that “The financial allocations presented to the Social Care Department are inadequate but this file depends on the general budget.”

Najib said in a statement to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “There are several demands to amend the salaries of those covered by the Social Care, also to amend the salaries of the Governmental employees in general.”

“The Financial Committee waits for the completion of the new salaries scale by the Secretary General of the Cabinet in order to specify the salaries after reconsidering them,” she stressed.

She clarified “The draft law of the employees’ salaries scale has been accomplished by the Committee that entrusted to draft it where it was sent to the State Council for endorsement to be submitted then to the Parliament for voting.”
