Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mohamed Iqbal, of the Wasat Alliance within the Iraqiya Slate urged “The political blocs to vote on the General Amnesty Law.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The IS has to exploit its recent alliances with the Kurdistani Alliance and the Sadr Trend to urge for voting on this law.”

“The IS still a huge bloc in the parliament despite the secession of some of its MPs but it still has 85 MPs in addition to the Kurdistani Alliance and the Sadr Trend,” he added.

“These political blocs are strong together and they represent the majority in parliament and we are sure that some sides of the Iraqi National Alliance are supporting this issue to bring justice to the oppressed people,” he concluded.
