Iraq, Hungary to conclude Memorandum of Understanding on Environement, Agriculture

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Minister of Environment, Sargon Selawa, announced that “Iraq and Hungary agreed to prepare a memorandum of understanding in field of environment and agriculture,” calling the Hungarian companies to “take part in reconstructing Iraq and addressing the environmental problems caused by wars.”

A statement by the Ministry cited “Iraq and Hungary agreed to develop the cooperation in the environmental domain and prepare a memorandum of understanding in agriculture and environment field during a meeting held by the Iraqi Minister with the Hungarian Minister of Development Affairs, Chandro Vasikash, in the Hungarian capital Budapest.”

“The meeting discussed the mutual cooperation between both countries in environmental scope,” the statement added.

Selawa urged in a press conference held in Budapest to accelerate opening the Hungarian embassy in Iraq.
