Integrity Commission issues semi-annual report of 2012

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Integrity Commission issued its semi-annual report of 2012 which clarified details about the arrest warrants issued by the Commission during the first half of 2012 against more than 5000 persons involved in financial and administrative corruption cases, among them senior officials such ministers and Directors General.

The Bi-Yearly Report of the Iraqi Integrity Commission received by Iraqi News cited “The warrants issued for individuals t attend before the Investigation Courts of the Commission since the beginning of 2012 till the end of July 31st reached 3814 and were distributed as 12 warrants against ministers, 118 warrants for Directors General and above as well as 3675 for employees under the post of Director General.”

“The arrest warrant issued by the Commission since the beginning of 2012 till the end of July were 1571 warrants which were classified as two arrest warrants against two ministers, 58 arrest warrants against general directors in addition to 1511 for people below this post,” the statement mentioned.
