Marabi criticizes MoHC’s performance

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Member of the Parliamentary Economy Committee, Hussein al-Marabi, criticized the performance of the Ministry of Housing and Construction in “constructing roads and bridges projects which lacks setting a prior study for these projects.”

Marabi cited in a statement to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “There are no genuine and fruitful plans set to fix the traffic jams taking place in the streets all over the country that resulted from the increase in the vehicles number.”

“Moreover, the concerned Ministries do not pay attention to the issue of accelerating the process of establishing the bridges,” he said.

The PEC’s member confirmed that “The Ministry of Housing and Construction contains a considerable financial and administrative corruption.”
