Dori calls to present Reforms Proposal to political blocs officially

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Itab al-Dori, of the Iraqiya Slate called “To present the Reforms Proposal that the Iraqi National Alliance call for to the political blocs officially to enable the people to be informed about it through the media outlets.”

She assured in a statement received by IraqiNews.com “Till now, the political blocs are not informed about the contents of the Reforms Proposal so we have to avoid the mistake committed in Erbil Agreement that some politicians and the people ignore some of its aspects.”

Dori stressed that “The Proposal must be presented to the blocs to add or delete some of its articles,” calling “The political leaders, especially the State of Law Coalition, to present some concessions due to the difficulty of the current political situation.”

She emphasized that “The President, Jalal Talabani, must call the political sides to resort to the dialogue after his return to the country immediately.”

She praised “The meetings conducted by the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, with the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki,” describing them as “A step in the right way because Nijaifi represents the supreme legislative authority in the country.”

She urged “All sides to avoid the media escalations to give a positive view about the political situation.”
