Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Prime Minister, Nouri Al-Maliki, approved the resignation of Baghdad Mayor, Saber al-Issawi, on Saturday.

The Media Advisor of the PM Ali al-Musawi assured “Maliki approved the resignation of Saber al-Issawi from his post.”

Issawi submitted his resignation request, earlier, to Maliki justifying this request by personal reasons according to sources close to him.
