Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Suzan al-Saad of Basra province called to form “A joint commission comprising the Office of the Commanding General of the Armed Forces, Nouri al-Maliki, and members from the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee to diagnose the reasons behind the recent security breaches that took place on last Sunday that resulted in killing and injuring dozens of civilian people.”

Saad stated to IraqiNews.com “The main reasons that encouraged to escalate the terrorist operations in Iraq is the spread of financial and administrative corruption within the security institutions which represents another face for the terrorism through granting open vacations for security elements in return of giving up their salaries to officials.”

“The weakness of the intelligence service and overriding the calls to develop this vital department facilitated committing those security violations,” she added.
