Khudhari: Maliki must adhere to certain points to sustain stability in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Hamid al-Khudhari, of the Citizen bloc stated “The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, must adhere to certain points to make the security forces capable of sustaining stability in Iraq such as activating the intelligence system.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Tuesday “There are some practical steps must be followed to prevent the repetition of the security breaches such as settling the issue of the security ministers, settling the political crisis among the political blocs and there should be a real intention by Maliki to adhere to these points because some security leaders have purchased their posts.”

“The corrupted persons within the security forces must be eliminated and the intelligence system needs to be developed because it is of a very low performance and is not capable of facing the current challenges in addition to that the political issues must not be interfered with the security performance,” he concluded.
