Housing complex to be established in Dhi-Qar

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Committee in charge of allocating pieces of lands to establish development and investment projects within the Council of Ministers declared allocating pieces of land to build development and investment projects in Baghdad and Dhi-Qar provinces.

The General Secretariat of the Cabinet reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com on Monday that ”The committee allocated (65 acres) to establish economic housing complex in Dhi-Qar province and allocated (3 Acres) to establish a center for collecting and cooling milk and a factory to treat water.”

The statement added that ”The committee approved establishing several projects such as Mahmudiya central water project and Rasheed treatment station.”

The Committee, responsible of allocating pieces of lands to establish development and investment projects, which is headed by the Minister of Provinces Affairs was formed in the General Secretariat of the Cabinet according to the decree no. (113) of 2011.
