IS MP calls Maliki to attend parliament session to discuss security situation

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Itab al-Dori, of the Iraqiya Slate called the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, to request the parliament to attend a parliament session to discuss the security situation.

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com on Monday, she said “The Infrastructure law draft is not more important than the security situation where Maliki attend the last session held on Saturday to discuss it, so he has to attend another parliament session with the security officials to discuss the security situation.”

“It is illogical to start building the country without sustaining stability and eliminating the security breaches,” she added, noting that “The cooperation between the Legislative and Executive authorities will effectively help in sustaining stability in Iraq.”

She called “The politicians to unify and provide all the views that could help in revealing the locations of the terrorists in addition to set accurate security plans to achieve this goal and eliminate terrorism in Iraq.”
