SLC MP: Balanced Iraqi stance towards neighboring countries to improve its foriegn relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Abul Salam al-Maliki of the State of Law Coalition assured that “The balanced Iraqi stance, in its relation with the neighboring countries, makes these countries to be ashamed towards Iraq due to their policies,” expecting “More openness in the Iraqi relations with many of these countries.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The balanced Iraqi stance makes some of the neighboring countries feel ashamed due to their offensive policies towards Iraq,” assuring that “Iraq is opened to all the countries, especially after the participation of Iraq in the conference of the Non-aligned Movement States.”

“The stance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia towards Iraq is improving due to its decision related to inaugurating its embassy in Iraq and it is clear for the KSA that Iraq does not intend to interfere in the others’ affairs and respect them where it calls others not to interfere in its affairs and respect its sovereignty,” he added.

“The Iraqi role dominates the international and regional scene due to the stance of the current government,” he pointed out, noting that “The Iraqi relations will witness openness towards the neighboring countries and there will be a settlement to the pending issues with Kuwait and Turkey.”
