Maysan sends delegation to India over medical cooperation

Maysan (IraqiNews.com) The Health and Environment Committee within Maysan Provincial Council assured that “It sent a delegation to India to start its official negotiations with Indian specialized companies to contract with physicians and nurses to work in the province.”

A statement by Maysan PC quoted the Committee’s Head, Maytham al-Fartousi as saying “Our visit to India aims to meet the clear shortage in Maysan hospitals in terms of doctors and nurses that prompted us seek contracting with medical cadres from India as it enjoys considerable scientific capacities that could be exploited to refresh the medical situation in Iraq.”
