Naqeeb: Political situation heads towards deep crisis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The former Minister of Interior, Falah al-Naqeeb, pointed out that “The political situation is heading towards a deep crisis,” noting that “The current situation in unstable and chaotic.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “We need a genuine partnership to make each citizen feels as a participant in forming the general situation.”

“Marginalizing the citizens will negatively affect the situation,” he added, stressing that “The lack of confidence among the politicians are behind the upcoming complicated crisis.”

Iraq witnesses political crisis lasted for several months due to the disputes among the political sides related to the partnership and other issues which led some blocs to call for withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, after holding meetings in Najaf and Erbil provinces.
