MP calls government to sue Jordanian Minister for admitting in bringing terrorists to Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The member of the Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee, Rafea Abdul Jabbar, called the government to submit a judicial claim against the former Jordanian Media Minister, Salih al-Qalab, over admitting in bringing terrorists to Iraq.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said ” Qalab’s statements over his contribution in bringing terrorists to Iraq required to submit a judicial claim to the International Criminal Court for crimes against humanity and genocide where we call the government to submit a claim against him for his involvement in killing the Iraqis.”

“Such statements aim to convey a sectarian message against the Shia sect and the message of that government where he worked in as a Media Minister,” he added.

He attributes “Releasing such statements by such officials without showing concerns to the lack of the unity of the stances of the political blocs which makes the other countries to slight Iraq and its people.”
