Early elections option to solve current crisis, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Hussien al-Marabi, of the Fadhila bloc pointed out that “The only option to settle the current political crisis in Iraq is through conducting early parliamentary elections.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “It becomes impossible to settle the current crisis because some sides do not have desire to solve it or to conduct reforms.”

“Whenever we get hope over reaching settlement for the crisis, some sides resort to the tensed statements to arouse the sedition again,” he added.

“These sides work on foiling the new political process to make Iraq subject to the wills of foreign countries,” he concluded.

Iraq witnesses political crisis lasted for several months due to the disputes among the political sides related to the partnership and other issues which led some blocs to call for withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, after holding meetings in Najaf and Erbil provinces.
