Life imprisonment against guy convicted of murdering his father in Dhi-Qar

Dhi-Qar (IraqiNews.com) Dhi-Qar Criminal Court issued life imprisonment verdict against a guy who was convicted of murdering his father in Dhi-Qar province.

A judicial source at the Court told IraqiNews.com that “The Criminal Court of Dhi-Qar sentenced the man, who was convicted of killing his father during a quarrel at home in Nasiriya city center of Dhi-Qar, to life imprisonment according to (Article No.406) of the Penal Code.”

“The paper of this verdict has been submitted to the Cassation Court for approval,” noting that “The judgment is subject to appeal,” the source added.
