MoI, Swedish Embassy in Baghdad discuss enhancing common cooperation

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Technical Secretary of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, Adel Karim, discussed with the charge d’affaires of the Swedish Embassy in Baghdad, Louis Cleese, prospects of upgrading the mutual cooperation in the investment field.

A statement by the Ministry reported on Sunday “The two sides discussed enhancing the common work between both countries especially because there was previous cooperation between the Swedish companies and the Ministry’s firms in the industrial sector.”

“The Meeting tackled the participation of the Iraqi Industry Ministry in the Investment Conference that is planned to be held in the Swedish capital, Stockholm, next October,” it added.

“The two sides expressed their willingness to continue to work together to take advantage of the Swedish expertise in promoting the Iraqi industry,” the statement concluded.
