Jundiyani: Talabani to return to Baghdad next week

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Spokesman of Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Azad Jundiyani, announced that “The President, Jalal Talabani, will return to Baghdad on next week to discuss the important issues with the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The political crisis is deep yet the current efforts are exerted among the political sides to find means to settle the pending issues.”

“During his meetings with some political sides, Talabani reached a vision that all sides seek settling the pending issues,” he stressed.

“The crisis is an internal issue that will be solved by the Iraqis without foreign interferences,” he concluded.

Talabani held several meetings with the political leaders after his return from Germany where he underwent a medical treatment.

Iraq witnesses political crisis lasted for several months due to the disputes among the political sides related to the partnership and other issues which led some blocs to call for withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, after holding meetings in Najaf and Erbil provinces.
