Libyan Government supports Iraqi Embassy to Tripoli


Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Libyan Prime Minister, Abdul Rahim al-Kib, expressed his happiness for resuming the relations between the two countries and re-opening the Iraqi Embassy in Tripoli.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs mentioned in statement received by IraqiNews.com that ”The Iraqi Charge d’affaires to the Iraqi Embassy in Tripoli, Khald Shalal, met the Libyan Prime Ministers Abdul Rahim al-Kib at his official office.”

The statement added that ”The Libyan Prime Minister expressed his happiness in resuming the relations between the two countries and re-opening the Iraqi Embassy in Tripoli,” pointing out that ”The Libyan Government is ready to present all the support and the necessary facilitations to the Iraqi Embassy.”

The statement pointed out that ”The Libyan Prime Minister sent his appreciation and gratitude to the government and people of Iraq.”

Iraq and Libya declared resuming their diplomatic relations on September, 2012. \
