Suicide bombing targets Primary School in western Anbar

Anbar (IraqiNews.com) A suicide bomber driving a car bomb detonated it targeting a Primary School in western Anbar on Monday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The suicide bomber targeted the school in Heet district,” noting that “The explosion resulted in killing and injuring a number of pupils.”

“The explosion caused material damages to the school building while the police forces blocked the explosion area in anticipation of other attacks,” the source added.

“The ambulances rushed to the bombing area transferring the injured to the hospital for treatment and the dead to morgue,” the source continued.

“The casualties are unidentified yet,” the source mentioned, assuring that “The bombing coincided with the first day of the school year.”
