Nusayif urges to implement penalties against officials

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Aliya Nusayif of the Iraqiya Hurra bloc demanded the legislative and executive authorities to implement the judicial decisions and the penalties issued by the Integrity Committee against the key officials who are charged with corruption cases.

In a press statement, she said “It is the duty of the Iraqi Government and the Parliament to follow up execution of the legal verdicts issued by the Judiciary and the Integrity Committee on cases related to financial or administrative corruption because these verdicts are related to the Public Rights.”

“All must be equal before the law and the special or key posts should not be an impediment against implementing the judicial verdicts against the General Managers, Governors or other key officials who were proved guilty in financial or administrative corruption,” she concluded.
