Khuzai, Obama discuss latest international updates

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Vice-President, Khudair al-Khuzai, discussed with the US President, Barrack Obama, the latest international political updates and the bilateral relations between USA and Iraq.

A statement by Khuzai’s office received by IraqiNews.com on Wednesday cited “Khuzai met Obama on the margins of the meetings of the General Assembly of the United Nations where they discussed the latest international updates and the mutual relations.”

The statement added “Khuzai has also discussed with the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Iraq, Martin Kobler, the current Iraqi issues and the means of releasing Iraq from the Seventh Chapter of the UN’s Charter.”

“Khuzai has met the Tunisian Foreign Minister, Rafiq Abdul al-Salaam, and discussed the means of developing the mutual relations in addition to make use of the Iraqi experiment,” the statement concluded.

It is worth mentioning that Khuzai has headed to New York on the 23rd of September to participate in the 67th Session of the General Assembly of the UN.
